Born in Lafayette, La, hosting events and southern hospitality were always part of daily life. The love of an event and hosting people quickly became second nature, and this career essentially chose her more than anything else. Her passion for bringing people together and creating an unforgettable experience is where she thrives.
Sarah and her husband William live in New Orleans, where they raise their three children and sweet Golden retriever, Soleil. When she’s not managing client and children schedules, you can find her enjoying a good spicy margarita, captaining her tennis team, or planning her next themed ladies lunch with her friends.

Riki Shaw, our Director of Marketing and Operations, is the vibrant heartbeat behind Mint Julep Productions. With an eye for all things beautiful and an exceptional talent for keeping our operations running seamlessly, Riki brings a blend of creativity, precision, and warmth to everything she does. From managing client files and maintaining our calendar to overseeing our social media presence, Riki ensures that every detail aligns with our brand’s promise of timeless elegance and personalized service. Her calm demeanor and positivity shine through in every interaction, making her a trusted liaison for both clients and vendors. Riki is an expert at balancing timelines and tasks, allowing our clients to relax, knowing their event is in capable hands. When she’s not running things behind the scenes, she is thriving in her hometown of New Orleans with her two daughters, Georgia and Noa, husband Jamey, and their pup Luna.
